New Gamebook Author - Nathan Blades!

Fantastic news! As part of our new edition, the Axon Punk: Expanded gamebook will include a brand new example scenario. We just finalized exactly who's scenario that will be and we couldn't be happier! The included new mission will be one written by the one and only Nathan Blades from London, England!

Nathan crossed our path a couple years ago when, out of the goodness of their glowing neon heart, wrote & recorded an actual play set in Axon Punk on their Shadow Run podcast, "The Talent Agency". The mission Nathan wrote was directly set in a location created by one of our authors on our first Kickstarter. Specifically, Nathan was inspired by a story from our first flash-fiction collection, the Gonzo Documents Vol 1, written by Darcy Ross from Monte Cook Games. Darcy is a "Evo-devo biologist, snail aficionado" so the mission written by Nathan includes Nathan's ideas intertwined with Darcy's in a freaky nudibranch-inspired Axon Punk mission.
We were so impressed by Nathan's actual play that we reached out the them to see if we could hire them to publish their story as an official Axon Punk scenario. Nathan wrote it up beautifully and we paid them for their work, but, due to the chaos of the last couple of years, we haven't been able to properly publish the scenario. So, the new Expanded edition of Axon Punk is the perfect opportunity to publish Nathan's scenario directly in the core gamebook. That way, everyone can enjoy Nathan's brilliant writing - as long as you back at a reward level including the gamebook you get it! Also, it's already written so no waiting!
We hope you enjoy Nathan's story, share the Kickstarter, and show them some love! The higher we get, the more we'll be able to involve Nathan in the update to Axon Punk!

Thank you so much, each and every one of you, for backing us so far. This is a wonderful and wild ride and you all are making it happen. The news a world around us dark and hard to face. Many of us are isolated and alone. The setting of Axon Punk can hit very close to home right now. We are seeing walls, hyperbolic capitalism, and the heavy corporate presence. That why one of the core pillars of Axon Punk is community and cooperation, so we baked that into the basic game mechanics. So what's next?
