Hope March and the coming of Spring is treating you well! Things are moving forward well with Axon Punk. Our layout designer, Charles, is doing a phenomenal job with the book and totally blowing us away with every update. With his permission, we have some exciting mid-progress page spread previews to share with you all. Check them out!
In addition to the layout progress, the writing is coming along and the complete short stories from our contributing authors are arriving. The team of contributing authors from around the globe is creating a wide range of beautiful story ideas - all the way from Vietnam to London to Dallas and even down to Argentina. Excited to share those with you and see them in print!

We hope everyone has been keeping warm in the last few weeks - especially our friends and family in Texas! We've been digging away over at WBG and have some fun updates for you.
LayoutProgress: Charles is hard at work and things are looking gorgeous! He sent us the first draft of layout concepts and they totally knocked our socks off. He is definitely taking Axon Punk to the "next level" with layout and things are already looking luscious. We'll be sharing samples in coming updates, so look forward to that!
WBG Website Update and FREE GAME: In a the chaos of this year, our website crashed so we had to rebuild and update. It was totally worth it and is really gorgeous. Cameron did a great job laying the foundation with his own personal site
New Layout Designer and Projected Fulfillment Date! - Post-campaign update 9

We've been hard at work in the Axon Punk forges and have two announcements for this update!
To start, we are thrilled to announce that we have teamed up with a new layout designer to help us take the new edition of Axon Punk to the next level. Colin was originally planning on doing the layout again but our Kickstarter did so well, we decided to spring for hiring a proper layout artist. The designer, Charles Mayo, was new to us but comes with a boatload of amazing experience. We are so grateful to be able to work with him and he's already brewing up awesome ideas for the book. Very exciting!

With the addition of Charles to the team, we had the final component of the equation to project a fulfillment deadline for Axon Punk: Expanded. Based on our calculations, we are projecting a fulfillment deadline of the end of May, 2021. Thank you so much for your understanding and patience with the health issues. The extra time and experience will most definitely create a better product, but we also want to respect deadlines and appreciate every individual one of yours support. We know kickstarter can be a wild and often frustrating ride from a backer's perspective, and we look forward to continue giving transparency and communication as we bring this ship in the harbor. Hello backers!
It's been a wild start to 2021 for everyone, so we hope you all are doing as well as can be. We have been working through the chaos over at Wrong Brothers Gaming. I'm communicating with the team and things are lining up well. We're lucky to work with so many brilliant people, and we've got lots of exciting updates coming for you in the near future.
For the moment, want to share with you a pre-alpha preview of the Axon Punk: Expanded gamebook.
Pre-Alpha Gamebook Preview:
Here is a preview of our rough "pre-Alpha" version of the Axon Punk: Expanded gamebook. We have highlighted in yellow the areas where we are working on the new content. I'm communicating with the graphic designer we're hoping will do the layout and I'm excited to see where he can take it!

Post-campign Update 7 - yay, it's not a tumor!

Hello backers!
Thank you for all of your patience and understanding lately! The last few months have been an absolute rollercoaster for the Wrong Brothers and the Axon Punk team, so we can’t thank you enough for your patience. Even with the madness of this year, we are still unquestionably committed to Axon Punk and have been making progress all along (ya know, between medical emergencies). Here are some updates about where we and the project are:
Colin’s Health Update: Colin had a serious seizure in September and the doctors thought he might have a brain tumor. Thankfully, after more tests, they concluded that what they saw on his MRI is actually scar tissue from some previous brain injury that has already healed. Scar tissue like this is not uncommon and can cause seizures, so the diagnosis is “focal epilepsy”. It’s basically the best diagnosis, but the epilepsy diagnosis comes with lots of lifestyle changes and medication, which is slowing Colin down. He’s working through it and improving every day.
Cameron’s Health Update: this is kind of more awkward and much more formal than I am used to doing. Colin prefers to express himself through text. I am dealing with ongoing anxiety complex post-traumatic stress disorder and other physical issues. Thank you for your concern.
Axon Punk Update: With all these updates, we are working through reassessing our production timeline. Colin and Cameron have had our own issues, but 2020 has been hard on everyone and Axon Punk is a team effort. We super appreciate every single of you backers and want to give you a solid timeline that we will stick to. As we finish working through the links in the chain, we expect to have that timeline for you in the next 2 weeks. Fortunately, all of this is weirdly insightful to Axon Punk and we’ve been writing/playtesting this whole time, so we are really excited to give you something extremely special.
